Balanced Mind and Body

Integrating psychology, energetic vegan nutrition and energy work to help you recover your health in an integral way.

The Integral Approach

Graduated with honors from the University of Costa Rica (UCR), I trained primarily in Lacanian psychoanalysis. As a result, language, the unconscious, and subjectivity are central to my therapeutic work.

I have complemented this foundation with a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychoneuroimmunology (PNIE) and a Master’s degree in Therapeutic Nutrition (Macrobiotics), both completed in Barcelona.

My body–mind approach also incorporates body awareness and nervous system regulation into the psychotherapeutic process. I listen not only to what is spoken, but also to what is expressed through the body.

My academic and personal journey has led me to understand that the current mental health crisis is deeply connected to the sociopolitical context in which we live: our disconnection from nature, colonial and patriarchal structures, speciesism, and an economic system that often prioritizes productivity at the expense of our wellbeing, connection, and rest.

From this perspective, caring for our mental health can be an act of self-care and resistance. Strengthening the body and mind, cultivating resilience, practicing compassion and empathy, and creating supportive and meaningful relationships are ways of resisting a system that is sustained by exploitation, exhaustion, disconnection, and isolation.

If this perspective resonates with you, I invite you to explore my services or get in touch to begin a therapeutic process together.
